Rates and Insurance
Fee Schedule
Our fees are set by the current Psychologists' Association of Alberta (PAA ) recommended fee schedule, which sets a 50-minute therapy session at $235 (10 minutes at the end of every hour is reserved for notes). We do not have a sliding scale.

Psychological assessments also follow the PAA recommended fee schedule. We charge a flat rate fee for psychological assessments, which vary depending on the type of assessment required. These assessment fees include time spent on the initial clinical intake, review of previous reports or documentation, administration of standardized tests, scoring, interpretation, report writing, and the feedback meeting.

Payments
For your convenience, we have implemented a touchless payment through our Jane clinic management software. Fees are processed on the day of the service in the Jane encrypted software system using the credit card on file (Visa, Master Card, American Express). E-transfer is also accepted. Receipts are immediately emailed to the address on file so you can submit them to your insurance provider. We do not direct bill.

You are not required to pay upfront for the cost of an assessment. Assessment fees follow a pay-as-you-go model.
Health Benefit Insurance
Fees are covered under most individual insurance plans. Check your insurance plan for specific details on psychological services that may be reimbursable. If your plan offers coverage for “psychology,” “psychotherapy,” or “counselling,” then you can submit your invoice for reimbursement.
If you are not covered under an insurance plan, psychological services are also considered a tax-deductible medical expense and your invoice can be used as an official tax receipt.
